The Materials We Use for Wall Panels

We provide our clients with the best lumber available, according to your specifications and budget. However, like all components, each wall panel can be custom made from a variety of materials. Below is a description of the standard materials that can be found in our pre-built wall panels.

 

Headers

Our headers are developed with Glu-Lam Timber which offers extremely high durability and strength. We have seen the best results using this resource for our wall panel headers, because it doesn't split, warp or check.

 

Bottom Plates

We use KDAT (Kiln Dried After Treated) bottom plates where required. This type of treated wood gives us the advantage of straighter and dimensionally consistent materials. Using KDAT is a step above the industry standard and results in a better quality panel.

 

Not only do the test results and facts point towards using manufactured components, but so do the builders and framers who use them. We work with several contractors and framers that have switched from traditional stick building to component building due to the huge savings in time and overall costs.
