Floor Panels

Advantages

1. Floor panels can be manufactured in long spans, reducing or eliminating the need for intermediate bearing walls, beams, columns or footings.
2. Special bearing, cantilever and balcony details are easily built in.
3. Engineering with component software makes craftsmanship easy and gives you design flexibility.
4. Stiffness can be designed into the floor panels, creating a more solid floor.
5. Up to 3 1/2-inch width allows for quick gluing and accurate nailing or screwing.

Open Webs

1. Allows for easy passage of ducts, plumbing and electrical wires within the system. No cutting of webs is required and there is no need to fur down to hide mechanicals.
2. Cold air returns can be eliminated by using the open web system as a plenum for air distribution.
3. Labor costs for mechanical contractors are reduced.
