Q: What are manufactured components?

A: Raw lumber manufactured into building parts - window assemblies, paritians, pre-built stairs, complex or simple walls.

Q: Why choose pre-built components versus traditional stick building?

A: Each pre-built component gives contractors and framers the ability to save time, and in the end, money.

  • Each component is specifically designed for each building and location, making components easy to use in the field.
  • Weather is not a factor.
  • Components are rarely stolen from the job site.
  • Material delays and shortages are less likely.
  • Callbacks are reduced, because materials are hand selected for quality during the assembly process.
  • There is less waste, which means a cleaner, safer working environment. This reduces the need for trash disposal and results in a cost savings on wood and other materials.
  • Huge time savings, translating into lower costs.

Q: Can I tour the plant?

A: Yes, contractors and architects are welcome! Please stop by during our business hours, M-F 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Call 402.624.2044 or e-mail us at info@abcwalls.com to let us know when you're coming ...we'd love to give you the "official tour."

Q: Who benefits the most from using manufactured components?

A: Pre-built components benefit everyone ...including the owner, the builder, and the framers or subcontractors.

Q: Is panelization suitable for all wood framing applications?

A: Anything can be panelized, however some projects lend itself to this medium better than others. We've used panels on custom homes up to 15,000 square feet.

Q: Are there any limitations or restrictions to a wood frame structure?

A: No! All projects are custom built.
