Our Story

Advanced Building & Components, Inc. was incorporated in 1997 and the story is quite unique. The two founders, with a combined 40 years of framing experience, were convinced that "stick building" was the only proper way to construct a residence or commercial facility. It took a persistent customer to convince them differently.

In the fall of 1996 a customer needed a particular job done within a very specific time-frame. It simply wasn't possible to take the job and complete it with the traditional building methods, so the founders (framers at the time) decided to pass it up. The customer, having worked with these men before, refused to find another company to do the job.

After quite a bit of research, he resorted to convincing these framers to use pre-fabricated components. Reluctantly they agreed. However, when the project was complete, they were impressed with the amount of time and money they saved. If they hadn't experienced it for themselves, they never would have believed it! After looking around, they realized that the companies in the area were using outdated, inefficient equipment. They decided that their best option would be to custom design their own machinery and establish a high production facility.

Today

Today ABC, Inc. produces wall panels for everything from 1,000 square foot starter homes to some of Nebraska's largest residences. Wall panels are used for homes, multifamily units, strip malls, restaurants and other commercial buildings.
